Barka, is an artist based out of both Sydney, Australia and the south of France. Influenced by a graffiti artist father, Barka began with a strong passion for art, and pursued this further by studying art in France. Known for happy, pastel-coloured landscapes, Barka's work captures travel memories, sunsets, and colour gradients.

Having grown up in New Zealand, Barka always felt connected to the Southern Hemisphere. A visit to Australia solidified this bond, leading to a move to Sydney, where the local landscapes inspire much of her artwork. The artist's style incorporates the vibrant colours and stunning vistas of Australia, featuring iconic elements like the Sydney Opera House and Australian wildlife. Barka’s art reflects a serene and dreamy aesthetic, blending the unique beauty of Australia with a joyful interpretation of the world.
