Teagan Malcolm

Teagan Malcolm is a Kamilaroi artist and designer based in Anglesea on Wadawurrung Country. Known for her bold, crisp vector based artwork, Teagan’s work celebrates culture, community, and identity through vibrant, contemporary design.

Creativity has been part of Teagan’s life for as long as she can remember. From childhood art classes to a degree in Communication Design, her artistic journey has always been hands-on and deeply personal. After time spent living overseas and pursuing studies in Health Sciences, Teagan found herself drawn back to her creative roots painting animals, native flora, and stories inspired by her experiences as an Aboriginal woman. This rekindled creative spark eventually led her back to digital design, where she has flourished ever since.

Teagan creates art that is playful yet powerful work that reflects her pride in her culture, her community, and her family. Whether she’s exploring contemporary themes through a First Nations lens or crafting designs that challenge, inspire, or connect, her work is infused with meaning and intention.

Grounded in the landscapes and stories of Australia, especially those of Wurundjeri and Wadawurrung Country, Teagan’s art is a celebration of lived experience. Her unique voice adds a vital perspective to the evolving conversation around Aboriginal identity and design in modern Australia.
